The Prince William County Trails and Blueways Council is an advisory council established by the Prince William County Park Authority, in conjunction with the Prince William County Board of County Supervisors, to provide services for the development of trails and blueways in Prince William County. The mission of the Council is to advise the Park Authority and the Prince William County Board of County Supervisors in the development of a County-wide trails and blueways system in Prince William County as outlined in the bylaws of the Council as adopted on Feb. 25, 2009.

The Council consists of 16 members: eight members are appointed by the Board of County Supervisors (one representative for each Board member), and eight members are appointed by the Park Authority Board (one representative for each Board member). Members serve two year terms. The Council meets in the Park Authority Board Chambers in the Hellwig Administration Building at George Hellwig Memorial Park at 14420 Bristow Road. Ten Council members present a quorum at a meeting.
