Balance Your Life - Healthy Choices Support Group
Join Sharron Baucom - Dale City Recreation Center's support group and learn how to make healthy choices.  There will be body measurements taken at the beginning and end of the session plus weekly weigh-ins.  Each week will also include a discussion on a fitness or nutrition topic with our fitness professional and the chance to share with fellow participants.

Swimming is not just a great cardiovascular workout, it's also very enjoyable.  We offer classes for Children, Adults and Seniors.

Pool
  • 40-meter heated indoor pool available for lap swim, family, recreation, open swim, or shallow/deep water exercise and/or classes.
  • 0 depth walk-in entry leisure pool with a maximum depth of 3' 8". This pool is ideal for young children and therapeutic exercise and is heated to approximately 88F.
  • After hours pool rentals available.
  • Group rates for recreation swim.

  • American Red Cross swim group lesson program for all ages and abilities.
  • Private swim lessons for all ages and abilities.
  • Group lessons for Home School groups.
  • Aqua-aerobics - An invigorating cardiovascular workout in shallow or deep water.
  • Over 25 classes per week to choose from.
  • Therapeutic Group Fitness  - Held in the heated leisure pool - small classes with a great deal of instructor attention - Senior Water Exercise, Back Care, Arthritis Water Exercise.
  • Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor Training - Great learning opportunity for teenagers & adults.

Our water classes include:

  • AK-WA-FIT: Hi-Lo aerobics class in shallow water.
  • DEEP WATER: Hi-Lo intensity aerobics class in deep water.
  • DEEP WATER JOGGING: Train for a marathon or maybe just a jog around the block.
  • HYDRA PUMP: Combination cardiovascular and muscle strengthening workout in shallow water.
  • LIQUID STRETCH: A 30-minute flexibility training session in warm water.
  • SEASTRIDE: A shallow water aerobic workout emphasizing water walking at various strides, intensities and utilizing a variety of equipment.
