Balance Your Life - Healthy Choices Support Group
Join Sharron Baucom - Dale City Recreation Center's support group and learn how to make healthy choices.  There will be body measurements taken at the beginning and end of the session plus weekly weigh-ins.  Each week will also include a discussion on a fitness or nutrition topic with our fitness professional and the chance to share with fellow participants.

Locust Shade Park  Amphitheater
All programs are held at the amphitheater at Locust Shade Park in Triangle.

The seating is on benches or you may spread a blanket on the grass. The stage is covered, but the seating area is not, so dress for the weather.
You may bring in non-alcoholic food and drink, if you like.

Fees are $4.00 per person age 2 and above.
Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more with prior reservations.

2008 Amphitheater Schedule

May 1 - “ Reptile World”  - Reptile World has been presenting live reptiles in an educational and entertaining setting for over 25 years. Come see Michael share Nile Crocodiles, Alligators, Pythons and more. 10:30 A.M..

May 7 - “ Frog Prince” by Bob Brown Puppets - Bob Brown has just celebrated a half century of bringing the magic of puppets to the world.  This marionette production of this fairy tale is about a hilarious battle of wits between a spoiled princess and an enchanted frog.

May 8 - “Tanka Tales” by Goodlife Puppet Theater -  Known for their grand production of puppet shows using a variety of different kinds of puppets, Goodlife Theater brings us a show telling three different folk tales of Native American Peoples.  10:30 A.M.

May 15 - “Tales of a Mysterious Land”  by Applause Unlimited Puppets - Hand puppets, rod puppets and masks are used to tell stories of the rich folklore traditions of minority populations in China. 10:30 A.M.
