Veterans Park Party Package Deal (Location: Gym and Party Room)

Saturdays or Sundays, 2 hours for $125.00 (Includes 25 participants, 3 chaperones, party room, Gym and a building supervisor) CENTER INFORMATION - The Veterans Park Gym measures 49' x 81' for a total of 3969 square feet.
- We have approximately 12 - eight (8) foot tables and 150 stackable chairs available at Veterans Park. The gym can hold up to 150 people. There are 25 chairs and 3 - (8) foot tables available for use at Birchdale Center.
RENTAL FEES - The Gym rents for $60-$100 per hour; the Multipurpose rooms at Veterans Park and Birchdale Center rent for $30-$35 per hour. Additional fees include building supervisor, and security deposit.
- You should include set/clean up time as well as any time needed for decorating within your contracted hours. Please keep in mind that theses hours are subject to the same hourly rental fees. If your rental request extends past 11p.m., you must have manager approval. Additional fees will apply for rentals going past midnight.
PAYMENT AND RESERVATION GUIDELINES - For your convenience we accept MasterCard, Visa, company/personal checks and cash. Please note that no checks will be accepted within fourteen (14) days of your rental.
- All rental contracts must be submitted at least fourteen (14) days prior to requested date.
- A copy of the contact person's driver's license must accompany rental contract - for verification purposes only.
- Rental groups must pay all fees at the time of reservation. WE DO NOT PENCIL IN. If cancellation is not made thirty (30) days in advance of scheduled rental date-100% of the remitted fee will be forfeited.
- Please note that all rentals are contingent upon availability of Park Authority staff to supervise the rental, current class/activity schedules, and manager approval.
- Any form of misrepresentation by the user(s) will result in forfeiture of the contract and all monies involved and the rental may be canceled at the discretion of the Park Authority Management/Park Authority Security/ Prince William County Police Department.
- Rental Contracts received less than fourteen (14) days in advance of rental date may not be approved.
ALCOHOL: HOW TO OBTAIN AN ALCOHOL BANQUET LICENSE Alcohol is by permit only and must be approved by this office first and at least 14 days in advance of your rental date. An alcohol fee of $35 is payable to the Prince William County Park Authority. You then take or mail the approved rental contract with a completed ABC Board application to the ABC Board in Alexandria. Directions and phone number are available from this office. The ABC Board charges $55 for their banquet license and this fee is separate from the $35 charged by the Park Authority. Your alcohol permit must be posted throughout your rental and the person listed on the permit must be present at all times during the rental. Alcohol consumption must cease one (1) hour prior to the ending time listed on contract. Alcohol is not permitted outside of the room that is contracted.
GENERAL INFORMATION - No smoking is allowed at any time in the building.
- You must provide one (1) chaperon per every ten (10) children under the age of 18 years.
- If it is noted that your group is exceeding the number of people listed on your contract, admittance will be stopped.
- The rental contract must be completed in its entirety before your rental will be approved. Information listed will be adhered to by the group and will also be enforced by the PWCPA building supervisor, rangers, and PWC police officers.
