CHILDREN’S DANCE
Pre Ballet and Tap
Emphasis will be placed on learning the “basics” and developing a memory of dance steps. Participants have the opportunity to socialize with other children and experience sense of accomplishment through excellent instruction. Students need to wear leotard, tights, and proper shoes. Boys may wear t-shits or workout clothes. All students must be potty trained.

Adult Tap Classes
Tap Dancing is not just for the kids anymore! Learn basic tap technique and improve your rhythm, coordination and flexibility. This is a low impact program that benefits the cardiovascular system. The Adult Tap I class requires no prior dance experience. The Adult Tap II class requires a successful completion of the Adult Tap I class.
Ages: 17 and up

Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz Classes
These popular programs will teach children the fundamentals of dance with emphasis on rhythm and technique. Our instructors encourage and motivate students to reach for their goals while developing flexibility, coordination, and poise. Students are required to wear leotards, tights, and proper dance shoes.
Ages: 4-11
Fee: $155
Our yearlong program begins in September 2010 and will end in May 2010. A monthly payment plan is available for $23 per month. This is due the first of the month. A late fee of $10 will be processed if payment is received after the 5th of the month.
CHILDREN’S PLAYSCHOOL
Come join the most fun and educational Playschool program in town!
Designed for children ages 3 – 5, the Ben Lomond Community Center Playschool Program will more than prepare your child for kindergarten. Your child will learn basic skills including: the alphabet, numbers, shapes, color recognition, writing and cutting, phonics, early math, early reading, science, and more.
Your child will also enjoy music, story time, games, daily crafts, and a nutritious snack. All children are encouraged to participate in our weekly “Fit Kids” exercise program. We also offer ever-changing choices of Free Play activities to stimulate and excite active imaginations.
All children must meet entrance age requirements by September 30, 2010.
All children must be potty trained. You must provide copies of your child’s birth certificate, Physical Examination, Immunization Records, and a completed Student Information Packet no later than the 1st day of class.
We offer three Playschool classes – a morning program for 3 year-olds, a morning program for 4 and 5 year-olds, and an afternoon program for 4 and 5 year-olds.
Payments are due no later than the 15th of each month. (example: October payment is due September 15)
