Whether you are a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just beginning an exercise program, we want to help you improve your fitness level in a safe and successful way. We believe that total fitness equals a positive lifestyle and the practice of healthy habits.
We offer fitness options for people of all ages, abilities and interests. Our services include:
Fully equipped fitness wing with cardiovascular machines, including treadmills, crosstrainers elliptical, bikes and rowers. In addition great sources of strength training machines, cable & cable-crossover functional trainer, fully equipped free weight and large stretching are available. Open Fitness
Our Group Fitness Open Schedule Programs represent the latest in fitness trends. We offer a wide variety of both land- and water-based classes – from high-energy cardio to power-packed strength building to relaxing yoga and Pilates.
Child Policy: Our group fitness classes are designed for adults, and we welcome participants ages 16 and older. Children ages 12 to 15 may be admitted with consideration. Please see our policy here. Families with younger children are encouraged to attend our Family classes, designated on the group fitness schedule.
Progressive Classes
Our alternative and specialty classes are educational and follow progression to help our students move forward to better health and fitness. From triathlon training to Tai Chi, we offer a huge variety of the fun, fitness options. Check out our newest offerings below.

What is Pilates? Experience the energy and excitement of Spinning class in our indoor Cycling Studio. Our classes are designed to motivate and invigorate you. We are an official Spinning facility with certified instructors who teach in the world’s most popular indoor cycling program. Here at Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center we offer the massage therapy services of Massage Therapist Bryan Respess to enhance the fitness and wellness options available to our passholders and guests. We understand the value of massage as not only a relaxation tool and a therapeutic tool but also as a means to reach even higher fitness goals. His massage services are available by appointment at a time that is convenient for you. Bryan's signature massage is a Swedish-style massage using an intuitive collection of bodywork as needed. He offers a convenient selection of treatment times for both table and chair massages. For prices, Massage Therapy Services.

Meet our Massage Therapist:
Bryan Respess has more than 20 years experience as a certified Massage Therapist. He is nationally certified as well as licensed in Virginia and North Carolina. Originally trained in San Diego, California, as a Holistic Health Practitioner, he provides clinical massage treatments in an intuitive format. With more than 21 different modalities, he provides a higher level of massage treatment than normally expected. Additionally he is an energetic healer with Reiki and The Body Talk System.
